To build this five-storey hotel, the developers had to deal with unstable soils and wanted to minimize the amount of foundation walls because they were using piles. Using our Composite TotalJoist system, we were able to span the joists from the corridor to the interior walls.
Working with a new installation crew that that had never used our systems, we were able to get the crew comfortable quickly. By the top floors, each floor was down to a nine day turnaround. Follow-up trades were able to start working as soon as the concrete was poured to expedite the schedule.
